WH0 WE ARE
The SAN TV Community Awards mark a historic first — the only awards in Scotland and the UK dedicated exclusively to celebrating South Asian community impact, service, and leadership. While most awards celebrate fame or profit, this initiative honours human stories volunteers, educators, youth leaders, interfaith advocates, and everyday citizens whose compassion strengthens Scotland’s social fabric.
PATRONS
The SAN TV Community Awards are honoured to be supported by a distinguished group of patrons whose leadership, creativity, and community spirit embody the values of unity and service we celebrate. Together, they represent the spirit of compassion, creativity, and connection that defines the SAN TV Community Awards.
PURPOSE OF THE EVENT
The SAN TV Community Awards inspire others by showcasing real stories of compassion and community impact, proving that anyone can be a changemaker. By celebrating everyday heroes and amplifying their journeys, the awards ignite pride, unity, and a shared motivation to serve and uplift others.
The SAN TV Community Awards go beyond trophies and titles, they recognise and amplify real impact. Every nominee’s journey is transformed into a story that inspires others and strengthens the social fabric of Scotland.
The SAN TV Community Awards turn recognition into representation, achievement into belonging, and success into service spotlighting real people creating real change. Each award categories will honour individuals and organisations from each of the five South Asian communities that SAN TV proudly represents and champions.
